Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) recently held a Vultures listening party at Wuyuanhe Stadium in Haikou, Hainan Province, China, where he premiered new songs and announced his newly released album. “There’s a new album coming out,” he told attendees. “This album is called ‘Bully’ and this song is called ‘Beauty and the Beast.'”

He posted on his Instagram, “Live from Haikou. Updated from Tokyo. I ran the ASR up to SP 1200. I was bullied along the way.” The song is titled “Beauty and the Beast.” It takes on a much darker tone than his recent work with collaborator Ty Dolla $ign. Ye sings about having “new tires” and says he tries to control his emotions in order to “cheer up the audience.”
