BOSTON – Several dogs featured on WBZ-TV’s weekly Pet Parade segment have found new homes in recent weeks.
Pet parade success stories
Schultz’s guest host has a puppy named Pirate who is adopted by a woman named Christine.
Pirate stole the show last week with his big yawn as he fell asleep in Tiffany Cheung’s arms during a segment. He is currently living his best life in Hyde Park.

Another dog, Gemma, also appeared in the pet parade last week. She found her forever home in Framingham with her two younger brothers and a dog sibling.
Nancy and Patty, a bonded pair of Yorkies from the Scituate Animal Shelter, were adopted together after appearing in a pet parade.
They have a new dog sibling who will be going to work with their mother.
Buddy Dog Humane Society
Buddy Dog Humane Society was featured in this week’s Pet Parade.
The shelter brought Mimi and Tay-Tay, a bonded pair of dogs who appeared to be a mother and daughter rescued from Texas.
Little is known about this dog’s history, but it had a thick coat when it was rescued. The dogs were rescued and later lived in foster homes.
Mimi and Teitei are said to be shy around new people, but they come out of their shells and are always well behaved.
Buddy Dog believes Mimi may be about 10 years old and Tay Tey about 8 years old.
