SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY — The Woods Humane Society will welcome the community, including leashed and friendly dogs, to San Luis Obispo for the largest local pet festival of the year, the Wiggle Waggle Fall Festival, on Saturday, October 26th from 12:00 p.m. We invite you to campus. until 3pm
A free fall-themed pet celebration will feature a costume contest for kids and dogs, a trick-for-treat training challenge, canine carnival activities such as stuffed animal pulling, pet-themed vendors and local food. A pet fair will be offered. , face painting, etc. You can also take a photo with Santa’s Paw or at the Woods Pupkin Patch.
Festival vendors include Paradise Shaved Ice, Buzzle Bee Face Painting, A Dogs Life Scarf, Gentle Touch Dog Training, Paws in Poppies and more.

New to this year’s event, Woods Humane Society and nearby SLO County Animal Services will be offering half-price dog and cat adoptions during the event. Free public parking will also be added in the nearby Oklahoma Avenue parking lot and other designated areas to accommodate more than 800 guests.
“With nearly 3,000 Woods pets finding loving homes in our community each year, we have much to celebrate with our friends and supporters. There’s no better way to thank them than that,” Woods CEO Emily LeRoux said. “In honor of dogs and cats who bring endless joy and laughter to our lives, the Wiggle Waggle Fall Festival embodies that same spirit, bringing together the animal-loving community for an afternoon of pure tail-wagging fun. I hope so.”
