Before checking into a great hotel or exploring a new city, your trip might start at the airport. And the journey is just as important as the destination. That’s why Forbes Travel Guide launched the first-ever Verified Air Travel Awards to celebrate the best airline and airport experiences.
The 22 awards focus on a wide range of categories, from fine airport dining and luxury lounges to the finest first class suites and in-flight cocktail bars. For those looking to travel the world in more exclusive style, Air Travel Awards also covers private jets and private airport services.
Emirates and Delta Air Lines were named Best International Airline and Best U.S. Airline, respectively. Singapore Changi Airport has been awarded the title of Best International Airport and the renovation of LaGuardia Airport has earned it the honor of Best Airport in the United States. Additionally, the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) awarded us the “Innovation of the Year” award for the implementation of facial recognition at major US airports.
FTG’s air travel experts scoured the world to create a list of candidates. We then conducted an invitation-only survey of 5,000 of the hospitality industry’s most frequent travelers, including luxury travel advisors, FTG’s most frequent travelers, secret screeners, and training teams to determine the Verified Air Travel Awards. The winners have been decided. The results demonstrate the integrity and objectivity of the 66-year-old Star Rating System, which relies on secret inspections by professional inspectors to determine annual ratings for hotels, restaurants, spas, and ocean cruise ships. Verified by FTG experts known for. ).
“Too many travel industry awards are the result of somewhat dubious popularity contests. The Verified Air Travel Awards are important because their metrics are based on real-world experience and real-world accountability,” says Emmy Award Winner said Peter Greenberg, travel journalist and host of CBS Radio’s Eye on Travel. “In a world where luxury brands are exploding, it’s not about pretty pictures or mission statements, it’s about the unbiased opinions of seasoned travelers coupled with reliable facts that lead to a reliable and relevant definition of excellence.” .”
Fasten your seatbelts and get ready to take off with global winners.
