Who is Lakshmi Daggubati?
Lakshmi Daggubati is actor Nagarjuna Akkineni’s first wife and Naga Chaitanya’s mother. The popular interior designer married actor Brahmastra in 1984. However, the marriage did not last long and ended in divorce by 1990. Their son Chai was born in 1986.
Nagarjuna Akkineni later married actress Amala Akkineni in 1992. Lakshmi also married a businessman named Sharath Vijayaraghavan and settled in the United States. According to a report in News 18, Lakshmi started her own company called Lakshmi Interiors because her husband is in the automobile business and she was also interested in business.
As for Lakshmi’s own lineage, the popular personality is also the daughter of late film producer Daggubati Ramanaidu. He founded Suresh Productions in 1964 and produced several films in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, etc., including Prem Nagar starring Akkineni Nageswara Rao.
This also made Lakshmi the younger sister of veteran star Venkatesh Daggubati and producer Daggubati Suresh Babu. Baahubali actor Rana Daggubati is also her nephew.
