Victoria’s Secret demonstrates how to make DIY angel wings ahead of Halloween
If you’re looking for a chic Halloween costume, Victoria’s Secret has your back, literally.
Earlier this month, the brand’s official TikTok account demonstrated how to make DIY angel wings at home using just cardboard, paper, glue, and ribbon. First, fold a large piece of cardboard in half and outline the desired wing shape and size with a pen or pencil, then cut it out with sturdy scissors.
Once the wings are symmetrical, stack the two sheets of paper and fold them four times like an accordion. Trim the ends to create a feather shape. Continue cutting different sizes of paper in the same shape to create three-dimensional wings.
Next, layer the artificial feather on top of the cardboard feather, with the largest part at the tip of the feather. Hot glue the paper on before flipping the wings over and repeating the process.

To attach the wings to the body, mark the four notches on the wings where you will attach the ribbons. Next, thread the ribbon through the cardboard and tie it around your shoulder. Look! The angel wings (almost identical to Barbara Palvin’s mirrored wings from the 2024 VS fashion show) are now complete.
“Happy Halloween! We’re sorry but there was nothing we could do about it,” the account captioned the clip.
For a real bombshell effect, Us Weekly suggests styling your wings in true Victoria’s Secret Angel fashion with your favorite silky bathrobe or lingerie.
If Palvin, 31, wants to express her inner self, she sprays paper feathers silver and rocks a glittery bra and underwear under a sheer gown, just like the models strutted down the catwalk. You could also do that.

Ahead of the show, Palvin exclusively told Us Weekly that her wings weighed about “40 pounds.”
“Mine this year are heavy. It’s just the size!” She exclaimed that some of the wings were “really light.”
“It’s not that difficult to walk on the wings in heels because they’re so well made,” Palvin, who was walking in silver stilettos, assured us.
