MARKETS, Mich. (WLUC) – Halloween is eight days away and Upper Michigan Today wants to help you prepare.
Fresh Coast Beauty’s Jessica Mariin shows you how to make homemade prosthetics using modeling clay and shares other festive hairstyle ideas.
Plus, party planning expert Bobby Glenn Brown shows you how to decorate for Halloween without the mess.
First up, Tia Trajohn and Elizabeth Peterson will share their stories from the day.
Back to Halloween planning!
Jessica Marin says she can make her own prosthetic limbs, such as unicorn antlers and deer antlers, using air-dried modeling clay. Allow to dry for 72 hours, then attach directly to the skin using eyelash or prosthesis adhesive. Or glue the clay onto a headband and wear it.
If you want to get in the festive spirit for the holidays, but don’t want to dress up, accentuate your look with fake spiders in your hair.
Bobbi Glenn Brown joins the conversation to share spooky centerpieces and mess-free ways to decorate pumpkins.
The crew ponders the do’s and don’ts of trick-or-treating while Jennifer Perez’s hair is transformed into a spider with braids and pipe cleaners.
Brown says you’re never too old to celebrate Halloween, as long as you’re respectful.
If you’re looking for a new place to buy candy this Halloween, call your local nursing home. It will likely have its own trick-or-treating time.
And finally, TV6 intern Jake Strange joins us to conduct a game of Halloween Jeopardy.
