Uber India’s latest campaign positions the brand as the go-to solution to all your travel troubles, bringing a fresh and interesting perspective through a cross-generational story. Conceptualized by FCB India, the campaign highlights how Uber simplifies transportation in today’s fast-paced world. This is also the first time that Jackie Shroff and Tiger Shroff will have a heartwarming father-son conversation on screen.
In the campaign, Jackie Shroff, representing the older generation, reminisces about the ‘glory of struggle’ of those days. In contrast, Tiger, the epitome of modern ease, books an Uber and travels with ease. This light-hearted interaction illustrates the evolution of travel and emphasizes Uber’s role in removing the complexity and frustration associated with travel. Capitalizing on the popularity of this iconic duo, Uber conveys its message in a way that resonates across generations, proving once again that Uber is the ultimate travel companion.
Commenting on the launch of the campaign, Ameya Velankar, Head of Marketing, Uber India said, “Uber India is excited to launch the campaign. “Uber has fundamentally changed the way we get around, bridging the generation gap with solutions that address diverse needs and challenges. Struggles are good in life, and they make us stronger. We know you do, but Uber believes there’s always an easier way to get around, literally at the tap of a button, with Jackie and Tiger Shroff’s popular Fresh. We brought together the duo, whose chemistry and relatability make them perfect ambassadors for how Uber is the perfect solution for all your mobility needs. They came up with a great idea that truly does justice to this brief. I would like to thank the talented creative team at FCB India.”
“Nothing moves Indians like stories rooted in cultural truths, and nothing moves Indians like Uber from point A to point B. This campaign is all about these two truths. One is about the concept of intergenerational struggles and what that means in life, and the other is about how hassle-free traveling can be with Uber. And at the helm of these stories are: , Jackie Shroff and Tiger Shroff coming together for the first time. That in itself is a marketing coup,” said Mayuresh Dabhashi, Chief Creative Officer, FCB India.
