Trips and Views signs new travel agency agreement

The LaGrange-Troop County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting Wednesday morning to celebrate the opening of Trips and Views Travel Agency.
Owner Violeta King said traveling has always been her passion and she wants to help others do the same.
“Ever since I was little, having been born in a communist country after the Great Revolution in 1989, I really wanted to explore the world. That’s when I got the job. Docking for the first time in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico was a truly life-changing experience for me. From then on, I always wanted to travel and connect with people. .”
Ms. King is originally from Romania and moved to the United States after meeting her current husband while working on an ocean liner.
“I was born many years ago in the middle of Transylvania,” King said. “I grew up in a country at a time when everything was tied to magic, stories, and costumes. I grew up with my grandmother, who taught me everything I know, from cooking to tending a garden. He also taught me how to make some spells. But that’s another story.
Dr. King said he was able to travel after the revolution and made the most of it.
“That really made a big difference to me. I always learn from their life experiences and cultures, especially from working on ships and ocean liners. There were 35 different nationalities on board. “They really expanded my horizons,” she said. Said.
Traveling for work is how I met my husband, David,” King said.
“It’s a very romantic story,” Dr. King said. “We met on a river cruise in Paris. He was a passenger and I was the ship’s hotel manager. He was the saddest person I’ve ever seen in my life. So I I kept checking in on her, and he realized that she really cared about me. We started talking a few years ago, but when I visited him, he told me that he really cared about me. I asked him to marry me at the airport.
“Never in a million years did I think I would meet my best friend while traveling, but you can find your love while traveling,” Dr. King said.
