Our friend, Travel Mom Emily Kaufman, always gives us great vacation ideas.
She joined us from the brand new Sun Princess cruise ship in port in Puerto Rico. Ship sales from Ft. Lauderdale throughout the Caribbean.
According to Emily, Sun Princess has so many great features, including a climate-controlled glass structure “dome” with indoor and outdoor pools.
In fact, she says the entire ship brings guests closer to the water, truly immersing them in the ocean experience with staterooms, dining rooms and infinity pools.
As you probably know, cruising and dining go hand in hand, and the Sun Princess has plenty of gourmet-friendly facilities.
There are plenty of options, from high-end specialty restaurants to popular eateries like pizza and salad bars. We also collaborate with chefs and artists to create dining experiences.
Emily was also impressed by the Medallion Class, which simplifies everything on board.
You can wear the medallion as a collar or bracelet and use it to open the door to the special room. No more need to swipe your card key.
You can also charge items to your room or show them when getting on and off the ship.
It also helps you keep track of other people you’re sailing with.
Emily says there’s also a wide range of room options. There’s something to suit every type of traveler and every budget.
Some rooms at Sun Princess include private poolside cabanas.
And stay tuned, as the Princess is scheduled to sail another ship to Alaska in 2026.
