Local resident Gloria A. Gutierrez is leveraging her background in banking and business to launch a mobile pet care business while hosting events at the South Coast Botanical Garden throughout October.
Woofi’s of Torrance serves El Segundo, Hawthorne, Hermosa Beach, Lawndale, Manhattan Beach, Palos Verdes Peninsula, Rancho Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, San Pedro and Torrance. Its new owner, Gloria A. Gutierrez, a longtime area resident who grew up in Hawthorne and previously served as a business and legal banking executive, will be at the South Coast Botanical Garden for the official installation. Many local events are planned during Dogtoberfest. Her pet care business will be open to the public on Saturdays, October 5th, October 12th, October 19th, October 26th, and Sundays, October 13th, 20th, and 27th. Her official grand opening event will be held on October 26th over three days. Timed sessions throughout the day from 8am to 5pm.

On October 26th, during each of our two-hour timed event sessions (tickets here), Woofies of Torrance will celebrate its official grand opening with complimentary paw treatments and tail-wagging delights for all dogs in attendance.
