PHOENIX — Three Walmart stores in Chandler, Glendale and Mesa will soon expand to include pet centers.
The first of three stores offering expanded grooming and veterinary services will open in Glendale.
A pet center near 83rd Street and Union Hills Drive will open this Thursday. A ribbon cutting and community celebration will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
We will provide treats for dogs and cats. Additionally, there will be a pet-friendly Halloween costume fashion show.
What about pet centers in Chandler and Mesa?
The pet center will open next Friday inside the Chandler Walmart near Pecos Road and Arizona Avenue.
The store will be Walmart’s fifth pet center in the United States. Services include vaccines, health checks, and other minor medical services.
In addition to that, the pet center also offers self-service dog washing and pet prescription delivery.
Those who attend the grand opening will be able to take home free samples of pet food. In addition, there will be an adoption bus from Maricopa County Animal Care and Control.
Grand opening will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Finally, Mesa Pet Center will open on November 2nd.
