Even for beauty editors like me, it can be difficult to know which makeup and skincare deals are worth your time. But I can tell you from experience that Amazon’s Holiday Beauty Haul (now in its fourth year) is hands down one of the best. From now through November 3, the retailer is offering deep discounts on trusted brands you love, including CosRx, Sunday Riley, Neutrogena, CeraVe, and more.
As someone who makes a living experimenting with anti-aging skin care, I am constantly changing my focus to meet seasonal needs. And now I’m turning my attention to super-moisturizing products that soothe my skin during the colder months, especially those that work for my aging face and neck. I spend hours each week searching the internet for cleansers, serums, and creams that will tighten, brighten, and moisturize my skin. Ideally something you can get on sale.
Over the next two weeks, Amazon will be offering literally thousands of deals on beauty products from name brands (and mostly not name brands). However, not all skin care is created equal. So what I’m looking for is a formula I trust, one made from high-quality ingredients with proven results. The following Amazon skin care products are some of my favorite products. Most of them are clinically proven or at least very well reviewed.

Albolene’s discreet, no-frills moisturizing facial cleanser is one of the best-known beauty secrets and has friends telling me, “You must buy this. It’s changed my life.” It’s a product I would never consider buying myself. Well, I’m that friend. This luxurious, velvety, mild, unscented cream will transform your entire nightly skin care routine, leaving your face feeling all-over soft and happy in the process.
This 100-year-old gentle cleansing product easily removes makeup without using water (though you can also use a damp towel or cotton pad to remove makeup). It’s especially effective for older women who are worried about rubbing off mascara and eyeliner, damaging the delicate area under their eyes and causing fine lines. It is also safe for all skin types. Believe me, if you buy it now (for only $10!), you won’t be able to live without it on your bathroom shelf and, if you’re a best friend, on the shelves of every woman you know. It will be a beauty product.

StriVectin has been in the luxury skincare space for decades, and over the years, the brand has built a reputation for carefully formulated anti-aging products using the highest quality ingredients. This popular dermatologist-recommended tightening cream was created specifically to address lax, sagging skin on the neck, where skin loses collagen and fatty tissue faster than on the face.
It’s thick and emollient and absorbs well into the skin of your neck without pilling or feeling sticky. A luxurious item that contributes to the appearance of a crepe-like texture and “tech neck” line.

Retinol is one of the few ingredients clinically proven to help smooth wrinkles, including crow’s feet, and brighten dark circles under the eyes. This affordable eye cream uses a stabilized form of retinoid that actually releases slowly over time, reducing the chance of skin irritation even for beginners. I also found this drugstore-bought product to be effective at reducing puffiness and gentle enough for sensitive skin.
It’s one of the highest-rated eye creams on the market, with 15,000 5-star reviews on Amazon. Also recommended by dermatologists. Now is a good time to try this popular cream. Almost 50% off.

This is the perfect cream for people who say, “I don’t like tightening creams, but I hate my neck so I want to believe it’s true.” Gold Bond Firming Cream isn’t superfluous, but it helps (makes your jaw look tighter and your neck look less reptilian). Although the formula is light and thin, the product absorbs well and is gentle enough not to irritate sensitive skin.
Note: You will need to use it continuously for about a month to see results. Of course, it won’t magically make you look 25 years old, but the good size and low price make this product worth a try.

As you reach middle age, your lips need extra moisture to keep them plump and youthful. Laneige lip masks are a lifesaver for many people. It’s constantly mentioned on TikTok and endorsed by countless celebrities (Kelly Ripa, Brooke Shields, Kate Moss, Kiki Palmer, Kate Hudson, etc.). Users say it works better than Aquaphor for dry lips and has changed their lives with winter chapped mouth. I also wax poetic about texture, taste, and most importantly, results. This is a great product to add to your arsenal and one of the best beauty products of the year.

Will Drew Barrymore lead you in the wrong direction? The actress and talk show host is a fan of thousands of Olay’s tried-and-true classics, including this coveted sculpting cream. Just one of them. The key here is hydration. Much of the aging of the face and neck, including crepey skin, is caused by water loss, but this thick, highly viscous cream begins to replenish hydration upon first use. It’s formulated with concentrated moisturizing ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, amino peptides, and vitamin B3, all of which help firm skin and reduce signs of wrinkles and sagging.
Women over 60 especially love this drugstore staple, saying, “It’s great for moisturizing. I turn 73 this month, and believe me, it plumps up the skin and reduces wrinkles.” It’s really helpful.”

Sunday Riley’s Good Genes is one of the most effective beauty products I’ve ever tried and lasts me 6 months! Honestly, I love this skin rejuvenating serum so much that if I had to choose one desert island beauty product (other than sunscreen) it would be this one. Lactic acid treatment gently and effectively removes dull dead skin cells from the skin’s surface, promoting cell turnover and giving even the dullest and dullest skin a healthy, vibrant glow.
It also makes rough texture smooth and plump, and clarifies uneven color tone. My skin has never felt better than when I use this every night. This sale price is still not cheap, but a little goes a long way.

I love this skin-tightening eye cream from Derma-E. Derma-E is a truly high-quality brand that makes natural, vegan, and cruelty-free products that cost less than a week’s paycheck. Made with skin-revitalizing ingredients like copper peptides and plant stem cells, it’s clinically proven to improve elasticity and firmness, and brighten dark under-eye skin tone. I especially like it on my upper eyelids. I saw a noticeable difference in texture in just a few weeks.
Over 1,600 5-star reviewers also praise its lifting and firming benefits, calling it “a miracle in your eyes – no time travel required!”

If you’re looking for an all-over firming, whitening, moisturizing, and skin smoothing night cream for your face, neck, and décolletage, it doesn’t get any better than this clinically proven version by trusted brand RoC. Especially at this price.
This popular cream is non-greasy and non-comedogenic, making it a favorite of dermatologists and celebrities alike (Sarah Jessica Parker is also a fan). And, according to over 4,000 five-star reviews, the public is happy, too. “I’m in my 70s and have relied on this cream for years. It works for my skin!”

Yes, CosRx is best known for popularizing snail mucin, but you shouldn’t sleep on their other great products, including this powerful moisturizing cream. A favorite among K-beauty fans, this face cream packs and locks in moisture to dry, dehydrated skin, preventing further moisture loss. I love this moisturizer’s lightweight, fast-absorbing formula and antioxidant ingredients. The texture is perfectly rich without being too heavy, and the product absorbs quickly, which is why I named this product one of the best anti-aging products of the year.
Bonus points: In addition to hyaluronic acid, this cream contains vitamin tree water (also known as sea buckthorn), which is rich in vitamins, amino acids, and fatty acids and strengthens the skin barrier. Strengthens and further increases hydration. The mid-range price range is the best.

We know that retinol definitely works to reduce wrinkles, but this Swedish brand’s Dark Spot Fix does double duty. This is a skin brightening treatment containing Retinol 8, a stabilized vitamin A complex meant to be eight times more effective but half as irritating than traditional retinol. I don’t have any data to back up the company’s claims, but I can speak from experience. This formula is so creamy and gentle that it lightened the stubborn brown spots on my cheeks that had bothered me for years in just 3 weeks.
It won’t give you as effective results as going to the dermatologist, but if you’re dealing with mild hyperpigmentation, this is a win for at-home skin care, especially at this price.
