With popular landmarks like Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains, as well as adorable covered bridges, delicious maple syrup, and some of the coziest bed and breakfasts in the nation, it’s the perfect place for a weekend getaway. And with its close proximity to New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New York, and the Canadian province of Quebec, it’s an easy trip to make, especially if your driving days are behind you, since there are train, boat, plane, and bus options.
