Caroline Taylor has been selected as Iredell County’s new Treasurer, effective immediately.
She brings 14 years of progressive service to Iredell County to her new position.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in mathematics from UNC-Chapel Hill and earned her Local Government Finance Officer certification in 2021. She began her career with the Iredell County Health Department and most recently served as Assistant Iredell County Treasurer.
“I am honored to be selected as the next Treasurer and am fortunate to have the opportunity to serve the residents of Idell County,” said Taylor. “I enjoy working with the dedicated staff of county government agencies and am excited to continue the high standards established by the Department of Finance.”
County Manager Beth Milton said the county is fortunate to have such “talented and dedicated individuals” ready to fill this role.
“Mrs. Taylor has proven to be a valuable leader within the organization and is highly regarded in her field. We are proud that she is furthering her career in this new position. ” Milton said.
