Forecasters don’t have all the details, but it appears southeastern Wyoming could be hit by some serious winter weather early next week.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service’s Cheyenne office are calling it a “major weather system.” They say the situation could be severe enough to affect travel conditions in some areas.
The agency posted the following on its website:
Weather patterns could change in southeastern Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle region next week. Medium-range forecast guidance indicates a strong cold front will move in Monday night into Tuesday with very cold air behind it. Tuesday will bring widespread rain in front of the front, and cold air behind the front will bring widespread snow. Accumulating snow is possible along and to the west of the Laramie Mountains from Tuesday into Wednesday, potentially impacting travel and causing significant snow accumulation in the mountains. We will provide more details about this event as we get closer to the event. stay tuned!

This year, Wyoming morning talk radio host Glenn Woods traveled to Casper, Wyoming with artist and photographer Tim Mandese to find the best Halloween decorations in the state.
That’s not to say other towns didn’t have amazing displays.
However, in 2024, Casper will win.
This gallery features daytime photos.
The following gallery features some amazing homes lit up on the spookiest day of the year.
We tried to find as many homes as possible. Sorry if I missed it.
