What is it?
I was inspired to try Shoppers Beauty’s 25 Day Beauty Surprise. In recent years, Shoppers Beauty has further increased its power, becoming a luxury beauty destination alongside Sephora and Holt Renfrew. Valued at a whopping $550, this 35-piece advent calendar features a slew of top beauty brands, including Benefit Cosmetics, Lancôme, Murad, and Too Faced.

Is it worth it?
If you’re into luxury beauty, Shoppers Beauty 25 Days of Beauty Surprises is a great way to try out new fan-favorite brands. I love that they have so much variety, sometimes 10 boxes have 2 products in them. We carry a wide range of products including skin care, makeup, and fragrances.
My highlight was definitely the Clinique Almost Lipstick Black Honey (one of the most talked about makeup products of the year) and the fragrance samples. I love perfume.

I think an advent calendar is a great gift, but I’m not sure it’s worth $550. Most products are sample size. Some have large sample sizes, but they are still mini-sized. That said, advent calendars are definitely more cost-effective than buying everything off the shelf, so if you’re looking to try out a few products, I think it’s worth it.

What is it?
15 Days of Beauty Exclusive Brand Advent Calendar includes 15 specially selected skincare and beauty essentials. While Shoppers Beauty’s 25 Days of Beauty Surprise focuses on products from the neck up, 15 Days of Beauty includes a little bit of everything, including deodorant, blemish patch, tanning lotion, and false eyelashes.
Unlike 25 Day Beauty, the 15 Day version contains a ton of full-sized products. The deodorant, blemish patch, lift & luminate serum, and Jason Woo blush are all full-sized, and even the mini products aren’t that mini. This provides good value for money.

Is it worth it?
absolutely. If you’re strictly comparing the two advent calendars, this one is far more valuable. Contains some full size products and the rest are not full size but not very small.

Many of our products will be loved by everyone, such as Naturium The Glow Getter Multi-Oil Body Wash and Bondi Sands Gradual Tan Lotion Skin Illuminator. However, the false eyelashes were a little too much for me. As much as I love false eyelashes, the ones that come with them are a little too fuzzy for my liking. That being said, I think it’s a great advent calendar overall, especially considering the $50 price tag. Honestly, I was surprised at such a low price.
