I love when red carpets turn into family reunions.

Supermodel Linda Evangelista and her son Augustine Evangelista had a fun mom-and-me moment at WSJ. There was an even cuter moment at last night’s Magazine Innovators Awards when Salma Hayek joined the duo. Of course, Hayek is Augustin’s stepmom, and the three posed together on the red carpet, proving that co-parenting can be both stylish and collaborative.
Evangelista wore a crisp white suit with matching wide-leg trousers and a black turtleneck top. Augustine coordinated with his mother in an all-black suit with a slim silhouette but the same tailored feel. Hayek wore a custom red Balenciaga creation with a strapless neckline and a sleek column skirt. The event marked Evangelista and her son’s first red carpet appearance since the Kering Caring for Women Dinner earlier this year.

In addition to Augustin, Hayek is also the stepmother of François-Henri Pinault’s other children, Mathilde and François, from his first marriage, Dorothée Leperre. Evangelista has previously been open about the close relationship the Evangelista-Hayek-Pinault family shares.

In an interview with Vogue magazine, she talked about how Hayek helped her when she was sick over the Thanksgiving holiday.
“I was sick,” Evangelista said. “And Salma got on a plane with her daughter and came here and cooked Thanksgiving dinner. She spent the whole day in the kitchen, cooking on her own. She didn’t have any help. At the end, her kids helped her. She made a feast, a beautiful dish. I told her I wasn’t feeling well and she said, “Oh, yeah.” Ta. i am coming. ‘And lo and behold, here she was. ”
