Many of you know that SaddleBrooke Pet Rescue (SBPRN) funds rescue organizations and local shelters through your generous donations and fashion show fundraisers. But did you know that SaddleBrooke Pet Rescue has another very important mission: rehoming SaddleBrooke pets? When a resident passes away or is no longer able to care for their beloved fur babies, SBPRN steps in to find them a new home. Many times, it takes place here in this wonderful community. In these cases, short-term foster homes are found and food, bowls, crates, and beds are provided for the duration of the animal’s stay. If your animal requires veterinary care to be rehomed, you may need to make sure it is financially viable. Unfortunately, pets are often abandoned in our area. Most of these poor babies require extensive veterinary care and nearly all are re-entrusted to Saddle Brook residents who have contacted us looking for new friends to share their lives with.

For the first time, SaddleBrooke Pet Rescue is excited to host a pie fundraiser to continue supporting our fur babies. We have bakers who are willing to make fresh, homemade, giant 10-inch pumpkin or apple pies for you for as low as $15 (other bakeries charge $32 for a 10-inch pie). (It also costs US dollars). Supplies are limited and orders are placed on a first-come, first-served basis. To reserve your pie, call Lisa John at (760) 382-5066 by Monday, November 18th.
Pie pickup is scheduled for Friday, November 22nd. Once you place your order, Lisa will tell you when and where to pick it up.
