Like many parents, Prince William and Duchess Kate have children glued to the TV.
At an event in London on October 9, hosted by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) and the Royal African Society, the Prince of Wales spoke with his children Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, He quipped to Prince Louis and his friends: According to Hello!, the six are “constantly fighting over the remote control.”
But William understands their point. After all, he believes that “screen art is a very important part of the fabric of our lives, allowing us to access different voices and perspectives and enjoy them in the comfort of our own homes.”
In fact, William said in his speech that he was “proud” to serve as BAFTA’s president because BAFTA is “dedicated to breaking down barriers for future storytellers,” according to People. ‘ Magazine reported.
His children are fascinated by all kinds of stories. Back in 2022, William said George is a fan of the game and his brother “loves movies.”
“They’re fascinated by it,” Kate, 42, said, noting that she and Kate, also 42, are “trying to regulate” their screen time.

And William knows firsthand how fascinating video games can be. When the PlayStation 4 was released in 2013, he called the console “very addictive” and joked that he was “not sure” whether Kate would have a PlayStation 4 at home.

What about other royal family members? Prince Harry is known to watch The Crown, a Netflix drama about the British royal family.
“The older stuff,” he said last year on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert about the stuff he’s been watching, “and the more recent stuff.”
His wife Meghan Markle and aunt Princess Anne have also watched some episodes, as has his cousin Princess Eugenie.
“The music is great and the story is beautiful,” she said at a 2017 London event, according to the Daily Mail. “When you watch it, you’re going to feel very proud. I can’t speak for you all, but that’s how I felt when I watched it.”
