Prince William attended an event in London today and joked about parenting.
The 42-year-old Prince of Wales attended a community event hosted by the NFL Foundation on October 15th.
The event highlighted the organization’s work to support young people in some of the UK’s most disadvantaged areas through flag football.
Prince William not only talked about the sport, a non-contact version of American football where players make tackles by tearing off the flags they wear on their waists, but also spent time trying out the game himself.
According to the Daily Mail, the prince handed out three mini-balls to Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, before leaving the event.
He was also given his own full-sized ball so his family could practice the sport together at home.
The prince seemed delighted with the gift and even joked about raising children. In one video, he can be heard saying:
“Never go home empty-handed, that’s an important motto for us as parents.
“That’s really sweet. Thank you very much. They’ll love it.”
