HANSON, Mass. — Officials say they are aware of a political sign posted on a water tower in the town of Hanson.
A water tower off High Street now bears the message “Trump 2024.”
The Hanson Police Department is aware of political imagery being projected onto the town’s water tower and is investigating the matter. ” the Hanson Police Department said in a statement Friday, Boston.
A Boston 25 news photographer was able to locate the projector in question. Town officials say this should not be taken as official approval.
“The Hanson Police Department does not support any political candidate or party, or any such images projected onto town property,” the Hanson Police Department said.
The City of Boston reached out to the town administrator, but did not receive a response at the time of this story.
Police say they have no further information at this time.
