Pilatus partnered with F/List to bring a mockup of the Pilatus PC-24 cabin interior featuring sustainability-focused materials to NBAA-BACE. NBAA-BACE will be held October 22-24 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The mock-up showcases clear F/Lab natural oil in place of synthetic varnish. It is designed to not only minimize the release of harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into the environment, but also to enhance the beauty of the veneer with its matte sheen and visible grain. The oil-treated surface is scratch- and dirt-resistant, making it highly durable.

Pilatus says the washing process requires significantly less water and detergent, and the faster drying process also consumes less energy. Additionally, the material is recyclable.
Carpets are made exclusively from natural wool, a renewable and biodegradable fiber. Pilatus offers a collection of carpets made without any artificial dyes for the most environmentally conscious customers.

Aiming to accelerate the expansion of solar fuels in the aviation sector, Pilatus and Sinhelion announced the start of a strategic partnership in summer 2024. Under the purchase agreement, Pilatus has committed to purchase 200 tonnes of solar fuel each year for five years, effective from 2027. Pilatus plans to use the solar-powered fuel in its vehicles and will make it available to PC-12 and PC-24 customers at a later date.
