Your votes totaled over $4,180, bringing the Pets @ Risk Calendar Contest’s three-year total to nearly $12,000. The nonprofit group tallied checks, cash and coins Tuesday to determine the top 12 vote-getters. Topping the poll with over $1,000 alone was Honey, submitted by Melissa Brand Welch. The other top 11 vote-getters featured in the 2025 calendar are:

The remaining 38 pets will appear on the cover of the calendar. These calendars will be available for purchase for $10 each when they are released later this year.
Pets @ Risk is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting animals throughout White County. The organization helps find animals in good homes, helps people in need with spay/neuter services, emergency veterinary services, pet food, and advocates for responsible pet ownership in general. I’m doing it. The group meets the first Monday of each month at 6pm at Carmi Studio in downtown WROY/WRUL. Anyone with a love for pets is welcome to participate.
