(KGTV) — Say hello to this week’s pets: Nala, Nova, and Gary.
The San Diego Animal Assistance Foundation continues its more than 20-year tradition of hosting its annual Howl-O-Ween Hounds MEGA Pet Adoption Event this Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Grossmont Center in La Mesa.
25 nonprofit animal shelters and shelters will bring together 300 dogs and cats for adoption. With so many to choose from, adopters can easily find the perfect fit for their family. Big, small, young, mature, we have it all.
Introducing Nala from Detonmaso Dogs, an Old English Sheepdog. She is only 5 years old and is blind. She is very intelligent and gets along well with other dogs. She has adapted well to her disability and is very happy to be placed in a foster home.

Nova, a 10-month-old Staffordshire mix, is also from Detonmaso Dogs. She weighs 40 pounds and gets along well with cats, dogs, and all humans. Come meet all the Detonmaso Dogs at the booth near Famous Footwear in the hallway of Walmart!

Gary is a 6-month-old tabby kitten from Friends of Cats who has been placed in a shelter with his siblings because his family is no longer able to care for him. They’re everything you’d expect from a kitten, very playful and energetic, but they’re also sweet and gentle, cuddly like a baby. Friends of Cats is located right next to the entrance to Reading Cinemas!
