Textual description provided by the architect. PAON Architects embodies a creative and collaborative environment within a compact 180 square meter space, thoughtfully designed to improve the team’s quality of life. The studio prioritizes functionality while creating a vibrant, open atmosphere that inspires innovation and teamwork. Due to the limited size of the office compared to the number of team members, the layout carefully balances comfort and practicality to ensure an organized and efficient workspace.

The interior design maximizes natural light by positioning the work area along a spacious window wall, creating a bright environment that increases productivity and well-being. Although compact, this arrangement emphasizes openness that fosters interaction and connection between team members, reflecting the intention to provide a stimulating and creative office environment.

Central to the design is a large conference room located between the common work areas and executive offices to encourage spontaneous discussion and collaboration. Meeting rooms with sliding glass panel doors maintain a visual connection to the work area, letting in natural light and fostering a sense of community. This space is designed as both a collaboration zone and an extension of the executive office, seamlessly adapting from meetings to private discussions and expanding the work area when the conference room is not in use.

Plants strategically placed throughout the studio inject vitality into the workspace, promoting health and creativity and softening the industrial edge often found in built environments. This lush greenery creates an inspiring atmosphere that stimulates creative thinking.

The choice of materials for the studio was influenced by the time constraints of the construction schedule. The walls are finished primarily with textured paint, and the floors are a combination of durable tile and wide vinyl for a clean, professional look that’s easy to maintain. PAON Architects’ aesthetic reflects modern design principles, using a warm white and sandy earth color palette that evokes comfort and tranquility. Subtle yet lively, with hints of mustard yellow, this shade is carefully applied to specific areas such as cabinet skirts and recessed panels to enliven a space without overwhelming it. This strategic use of color prevents monotony and enhances the creative vibe while maintaining an overall earthy tone.
