From the Platteville-Autauga Humane Society
Armstrong is a 1-year-old male Chocolate Lab mix who will need to be neutered before he can be adopted. He was brought in as a stray dog. And none of his owners came to pick him up. Armstrong is a big and handsome guy! He weighs 81 pounds! He is a very serious man in chocolate and a white coat. Armstrong is very active and playful. He needs a securely fenced yard where he can safely get the “zoomies” out. Armstrong is eager to please and would probably be a great candidate for obedience school. Because of his size and activity level, he gets along well with older children. If you have other dogs, we encourage you to meet them.
The dog/puppy adoption fee is $100. Adoption fee for cats/kittens is $50. Our adoption fee includes a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as required by age and law), and a free examination by a veterinarian at a participating business. Your pet will be spayed/neutered before adoption. Alternatively, a spay/neuter certificate will be issued to help cover the cost of spay/neuter surgery. Unless otherwise indicated under “Special Needs”, our dogs have tested negative for heartworms.
