ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orlando Pride suffered their first loss of the season against the Portland Thorns last Saturday.

The Pride now aim to finish the regular season with a win in New Jersey and return home for the final home regular season game against the Seattle Reign on November 2nd.

Don’t expect head coach Seb Hines to stick with the same lineup against the Thorns, where many of the regular starters were on the bench for much of the game.
“Regardless of Portland’s format, it’s always a tough place to play. It (the Pride’s lineup) was a different team than anyone has seen in recent games. We will make changes. It was justified by the effort that the other players had done all season, and it was also an opportunity for the players to go out and express themselves and get on the field,” said head coach Seb. Hines said after last week’s loss.

Gotham FC defeated the Chicago Red Stars 2-0 last weekend.
Gotham FC currently sits in 3rd place, tied with the 2nd place Washington Spirit on points, and has a chance to move up to 2nd place with a 1 win and 1 loss to the Spirit.
Gotham FC will have a lot of emotions going into Sunday’s game.

It’s the team’s last home game of the season and also a fan appreciation night.
There will also be a celebration of Kerry O’Hara on Sunday after O’Hara announced his retirement earlier this season.
The game will kick off at 5 p.m. ET and will be broadcast nationally on ESPN.
