We have approximately 90 dogs and 60 cats in our care, and we don’t just adopt animals, we specialize in rescuing animals with special needs and animals that would otherwise be euthanized at a kill facility. Masu.
“We provide all the supplies, we help take them to the vet, we help them foster. And because this is a community issue, we can really leverage the support of the community. Therefore, we hope that more people can take action and save more animals. If so, please visit our website www.OneLoveAnimalRescue.com and register as a foster parent. or visit our social media pages,” said Christina Dolan, Vice Chair of the One Love Animal Rescue Board. .
To date, One Love Rescue has rescued and transported 104 dogs from GARD premises.
They work with many other rescue operations across the United States to save the lives of dogs every day.
“We make a promise of love, that’s one of our pillars. Subaru loves pets, so we’re sponsoring this event. And One Love is one of the most prolific initiatives in the community. We decided to partner with them to do this,” said Theo Zamora, general manager of Chatham Subaru.
“One of the things we try to do as foster parents is to interact well with the animals. We have trainers and we try to interact with them. All of our foster parents live in their own homes. We keep them on a foster home basis. We don’t have a physical shelter, and the reason is, as you can see, to socialize them and prepare them for adoption. Because I think it’s important to take care of it,” Dolan said. “Yeah, there are a lot of pets here today that are really adoptable. Sometimes we all think that the reason they’re in a shelter is because they’re neglected, or because they’re a bad dog, or because they have behavioral issues. You think that’s the case, but it’s not. There’s just a lot of circumstances that are outside of their control.”
“Obviously, it’s good for the community and it’s good for the animals.Obviously, with the Subaru Love Pets campaign, it’s about what we need to do for our communities and what we can be a part of. I’m just happy,” Zamora said.
