Now that she’s the proud mother of two, actress Olivia Munn is giving us the most relatable parenting update.
Over the weekend, the Newsroom star shared a series of posts to her Instagram Story detailing what life as a parent is like for both toddlers and newborns.
“This is proof that I made it through last night,” Munn wrote in one post, which also included a selfie of her mother looking tired, People reported.
“Having a toddler and a newborn at the same time is not for the faint of heart,” she added.
Munn announced on September 22nd that her husband John Mulaney gave birth to her second child, Mae June Mulaney, on September 14th as a surrogate mother.
“I felt so deeply about not being able to hold my daughter,” she wrote in a touching caption. “When I first met our surrogate mother, we talked to her and her mother. She showed me so much grace and understanding that I felt I had found a real angel. Ta.”
“Words cannot express our gratitude to her for keeping our baby safe for 9 months and making our dreams come true. I’m so proud of Little Plum and Little Dragon,” Mann continued. “My heart just exploded.”
Mann and Mulaney are now the proud parents of two children, 3-week-old daughter Mae and 2-year-old son Malcolm.
In another Instagram post, Mann asked for help on how to use a hands-free baby wrap. Mann, a mother of two, said she wanted to master it after giving birth to her son.
“Okay, well, I know this is wrong, so I can’t let her go,” Mann told the camera while cradling her newborn daughter in her arms. . “But ever since Malcolm was a baby, I’ve wanted to do a mommy wrap, but I just couldn’t think of anything…it’s so difficult.
“If you don’t know what it is, it’s a big, long piece of cloth that you wrap around it to hold your baby tightly and free up your hands, but I don’t understand that,” she said. added.
“This is wrong. This is not what it’s supposed to be. Moms who can do this are queens. This is so hard. Harder than origami. It’s so crazy,” she continued. “I don’t know what to do. I’ve watched all of YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. And moms have told me it’s not hard, so I’ll tell you that. But it’s so hard.”
In the caption of her post, Munn asked fellow parents to “please tell me what to do”, and of course fans and fellow moms helped out.
