From the outset, there’s no denying that it definitely seems like excellent value, especially given the £176.65 savings. And it’s rare to find a decent calendar for under £100 in 2024.
I’m already a big fan of No7 as well and have thoroughly reviewed several products from the brand, with my favorite being their best-selling Future Renew skincare products. So I had high hopes for this advent calendar.

Inside the calendar is a full-sized bottle of lip oil, which normally costs £14.95. It’s part of No7’s new 12-piece Pro Artist Makeup collection, which offers luxurious, high-quality makeup products at affordable prices.
I love lip oil and always have it in my handbag, on my desk, and on my bathroom shelf. Perfect for moisturizing, moisturizing and plumping dry lips with a glossy finish. This one in particular features a smooth texture without stickiness, oiliness or strong fragrance, and a glossy finish. You can layer it over lip liner or lipstick, but my favorite is to wear it on its own.

In case you didn’t know, No7’s Future Renew Skincare range, launched last year, is the brand’s fastest-selling collection ever, with one item sold every two seconds on the day of launch. In fact, at one point it was one of the best-selling skincare products in all of Boots.
The Advent Calendar comes with a 25ml tube of Future Renew Day Cream and I wish I had found the full size version, but it’s a great way to try it out before committing to the larger size at £34.95.
If you like rich, creamy daily moisturizers, you’ll love this. Plus, it has SPF 40 and is packed with antioxidants and active ingredients like vitamin C and rice protein to help brighten and hydrate your skin. There is no denying that this is a great cream. It’s especially great if your skin is lackluster.

This is a No7 exclusive and can’t be purchased anywhere else, so it’s only featured in calendars, which is a shame because it’s an excellent makeup remover. I like to massage a cleansing balm or oil into my skin before wiping it off with this microfiber pad. Because it’s a much faster and more efficient method of cleansing than wiping (which is also bad for the environment).
It’s also great for traveling because it won’t trap moisture for long periods of time, and when you need to clean it, you can throw it in the washing machine and it’ll be as good as new.

When you open a full-sized tube of this glowing primer, you’re in for a winner! It’s a completely new product to me, but it has become a daily part of my makeup routine.
As part of the Lift and Luminate series, it focuses on adding shine under makeup and brightening the complexion. I love the gel texture, which absorbs quickly and leaves my skin silky soft, adding a subtle glow underneath my foundation.

While I enjoy the variety of products in this advent calendar, I would have liked to have seen larger sizes for the skincare products, especially from popular lines like Future Renew.
Future Renew Serum | Retail price is £34.95 for 25ml
Future Renew Serum only comes in a 5ml tube. It has a smooth texture and moisturizes the skin like no other, but it’s so small that I can’t use it much. I would have liked to have seen it come with a life-sized tube as a Christmas centerpiece, but unfortunately I had to make do with a miniature.
No7 lotion | Retail price is £9.95 for 100ml
This lotion is designed to reduce the appearance of pores and keep your skin clean in one step after washing your face. I would have been better off using a serum or moisturizer instead as there was very little change in my skin.
No7 Pro Artist Matte Muse Nude Chic | Retail price is £14.95 for 3.3g
I usually welcome lipstick in advent calendars, but the only downside to this is the color. It is a nude, velvety matte lipstick, but it does not flatter my skin tone. Instead, I would have liked to have seen a more universal shade that would suit any skin tone, a bright, Christmassy red.
Is No7’s 25 Days of Beauty Secrets Advent Calendar worth the splurge?
If you’re a fan of No7, chances are you’ve already used or heard of many of the products included in this calendar. We love that No7’s collection is diverse and includes a variety of new products from the Pro Artist series that you can try out at a fraction of the usual cost.
For £60, it has a huge selection of items to refresh both your skincare and make-up routines, so overall I think it’s well worth adding to your basket.
No7 may have pulled a trick by not including more full-sized items, and the cardboard packaging feels a bit flimsy. But given the £60 price tag, that’s negligible.
If you’re looking for something more full-sized, you might be interested to know that No7 actually launched two advent calendars this year. The No7 25 Day Beauty Secrets Advent Calendar I tested is the most affordable option.
