Marlboro, NJ — A new Planet Fitness location is now open in Marlboro.
The new gym, located in Marlboro Plaza on Route 9, officially opened to customers on Tuesday. According to the Planet Fitness website, the space is open seven days a week and offers a variety of membership options for patrons.
“We strive to create a workout environment where everyone feels included and respected,” Planet Fitness officials said. “That’s why at Planet Fitness in Marlboro, New Jersey, we make sure our clubs are clean and welcoming, our team members are friendly, and our certified trainers are always available to help.”
News arrived in September 2023 that Planet Fitness would be joining Marlboro Plaza.
The gym took over the former Staples location in the plaza on a 10-year lease and currently occupies more than 20,000 square feet.
Located less than five minutes from the gym’s previous location, Planet Fitness in Marlboro features a new functional training and mobility room, an upgraded Black Card Spa, and new strength and cardio training with free weights, Smith machines, and more. Equipment is provided.
“Whether you’re new to the gym or a fitness veteran, there’s always a place for you in our Judgment Free Zone,” Planet Fitness officials said.
