Disneyland continues to prepare for the 2024 holiday season. More snow has been added to Sleeping Beauty’s Castle, and New Orleans Square is decorated with holiday decorations.

By mid-October the first snow caps were installed on the castle turrets. Fake snow now covers most of the turret and roof. The set dressing was designed so that parts of the blue roof looked like patches of white snow showing through.
Icicle lights also now hang from many of the battlements and over the castle walls. During the day, it only looks like silver icicles, but at night in winter, it is illuminated.
Castles are usually decorated with wreaths and large wreaths, which may be installed soon. Halloween decorations on Main Street USA will also be replaced with holiday decorations.
Christmas in New Orleans Square
New Orleans Square has passed Halloween and is now decked out in Christmas colors. Wreaths are hung from balconies throughout the property. Each facade has unique decorations and appears to have been decorated by its respective owner.
This balcony next to the Pirates of the Caribbean facade features a wreath covered with strings of silver beads, silver ribbons, and pale baubles. A golden iris flag hangs from the roof. Two matching banners are hanging below.
This balcony wreath is a mask surrounded by purple, green, and gold decorations, representing New Orleans’ long Mardi Gras history.
Other wreaths feature more traditional Christmas colors of red and green. Large ornaments hang below some balconies and above the store entrances. There is a wreath full of decorations on the door.
This intricate decoration is made of dark flowers and pillar horns. In the center are two Venetian masks, one black and one white.
This balcony has purple and gold banners on the pillars. Instead of a green leaf garland, this garland is made with colorful decorations. Musical notes hang from the garland, and musical instruments are located where the garland is connected to the pillar, matching the musical theme of the balcony’s usual props.
Eudora’s Chic Boutique is decorated with wreaths and wreaths above the entrance. There is a leaf decoration in the corner of the tunnel next to the “Princess Kiss” gift shop.
A vintage style Christmas banner hangs on one wall. On the left is a woman wearing red running through the snow. It says “Si vous toussez prenez des pastilles géraudel”. The advertisement for Geraudel lozenges was created in 1896 by Jules Chéret. The banner on the right reads “Joyeuax Noël” (Merry Christmas) and features an Art Nouveau style image of an angelic figure.
Speaking of angels, on this balcony there is a golden statue of an angel behind a wreath full of gold ornaments. A large gold tassel hangs from the end of the wreath.
The remaining facades are decorated with more wreaths, garlands, and other ornaments.
The tree is also decorated. This tree outside the Tiana Palace is decorated with a large gold star and a golden crescent.
Other trees have Santa Claus painted in the shape of a crescent moon.
