This year, the Atlantic Speech and Debate team will be launching a new fundraiser, according to Atlantic Speech and Debate Head Coach Trisha Koenig.
From October 15th to November 15th, 2024, the team will be selling Atlantic Hy-Vee coupon cards.
“These coupon cards allow shoppers to save $135 on Hy-Vee purchases. Cards cost just $25 each. Pay for themselves with just a few coupons. Valid The term is one year,” Koenig said in an email. “Proceeds from each card will be used to support the Atlantic High School Speech & Debate Team in the form of tournament registration, travel expenses, script purchases, etc. The National Speech & Debate Tournament will be held in June 2025 in Iowa and help our performers compete!”
Koenig said anyone interested in purchasing a coupon card should contact a member of the Atlantic High School speech and debate team. Speech and debate members will also set up tables and sell coupon cards at the next soccer and volleyball games.
