Stretch Lab, an assisted stretching franchise, will hold the grand opening of its first studio in Rockland County in Nanuet on Friday, October 25th and Saturday, October 26th.
Located at 17 N Middletown Road, the studio introduces people of all ages and fitness levels to the health and wellness benefits of working with a flexologist in a modern, welcoming environment.
Nanuet entrepreneur Sagar Pense owns a new business. Prior to becoming a business owner, Mr. Pense worked for financial services and major technology companies in New York City.
Until June 2023, he worked as a hiring manager at Meta, managing AI engineering hiring across North America, until he was laid off like many other companies in the tech industry that year.
After being laid off, Pense pursued his lifelong passion for entrepreneurship. He considered various franchise options before discovering StretchLab.
“When I learned that Rockland County didn’t have a stretch lab, I knew we had to bring one to the area,” Pense said. “Rockland is home to an active population that enjoys hiking, golf, and outdoor recreation, and with that activity comes a growing need for wellness-focused services.”
Pense said the community values long-term health, whether young families stay active, professionals balance work and health, or seniors maintain mobility.
StretchLab offers a variety of personalized one-on-one stretching services, including a 25-minute stretch focused on a client’s current stretching needs or a 50-minute head-to-toe deep stretch that targets all major muscle groups. We offer
In addition to one-on-one stretching services, we offer two types of small group stretching services.
Monthly memberships for 4 or 8 visits per month and drop-in stretches are also available. Additionally, StretchLab offers a family plan that can be shared between multiple users.
StretchLab Nanuet is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
