GREEN BAY – A new gym will open on the west side next year.
Crunch Fitness is under construction at 1535 W. Mason St., next to Big Lots in Green Bay Plaza, according to a company news release. Company spokeswoman Jen Osborn said construction began earlier this month and is scheduled to open in February.
The new facility will cost $5 million and will be 31,000 square feet, according to the release. The franchise will be operated by MFG Green Bay Inc., which was founded in 2014.
“We are very excited to bring the Crunch Fitness brand to the Green Bay community,” MFG Green Bay co-owner Ken McGlone said in a release. “Crunch is fun for everyone, from first-time gym goers to seasoned athletes.”
The gym includes four studios, cardio and strength training equipment, a recovery area, and offers classes such as cycling and hot yoga.
MFG Green Bay Inc. currently has a Crunch Fitness Center in Appleton and plans to open more in the near future.
