Kaylie Dee shared a photo of her daughter’s waist-length curls in the Family Lowdown Tips & Ideas Facebook group, which has more than 1 million members.
“If you have any recommendations for detangling sprays for the world’s nastiest hair,” she wrote.
“I can’t cut my hair with Asda spray and I’m scared of having to brush my three-year-old’s hair every day.
“I use conditioner when I wash my hair. Thank you.”
Hundreds of people liked the post, praising how “beautiful” her daughter’s hair was.
“I don’t have any advice, sorry, but I’m just fascinated by your daughter’s beautiful hair. I’m jealous of her hair!” All those golden and red tones, wow,” one person wrote.
Another said: “I would die if my daughter had this beautiful hair.”

Amidst the flood of commenters marveling at their daughters’ hair, several mothers also shared the same DIY solution.

“Mix the conditioner glob with hot water in a spray bottle, shake and let cool,” she wrote.
“It doesn’t make my daughter’s hair greasy and it’s much better than others I’ve tried.
“She’s autistic and airbrushing is a big trigger for meltdowns. That doesn’t happen anymore.”
Another mom commented with the same idea and received a lot of likes.
“I really thought it was a picture of my daughter,” she said.
“I brush it out with regular conditioner or mix it with water and use it in a spray bottle. It works just as well as all the more expensive options.”
