The Motor City Machine Guns have officially arrived in WWE, debuting on WWE SmackDown on October 18th after several weeks of vignettes. Now, fans can look forward to seeing Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin match up next week in a match that is truly a tag team wrestling fan’s dream!
This week on SmackDown, MCMG won their debut match against A-Town Down Under vs. Ross Garza, advancing to the tournament to determine the number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship. On this show, DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) defeated Pretty Deadly and Street Profits to advance to the tournament. DIY and Motor City Machine Guns will face off next week, with the winner earning a matchup against The Bloodline.
DIY and MCMG are two talented teams who both established loyal fan bases in the independents before coming to WWE. From now on, fans will get to see these four talented wrestlers do their best for the WWE Tag Team Titles.
