If anyone was wondering if Missy Truscott would be able to return from her devastating knee injury, they were given immediate rest Friday. The two-time Olympia Fitness champion won her third Olympia Fitness title with a dominant performance at the 2024 Olympia Finals held at the Las Vegas Resorts World Theater on Friday.
It was just one year ago that Truscott suffered a severe knee injury during his finals routine and finished the 2023 Olympia while being treated by medical personnel. It was also the beginning of her path to salvation and recovery.
During Friday’s preliminary judging posing round, Truscott made it perfectly clear that she was back, and was at the center of the final call along with Tamara Vann (who finished fifth). But in the performance round, the three-time champion set himself apart from the rest with an emotional Spartan-themed routine.
This year’s runner-up was Jaclyn Baker, and the bronze medal went to Taylor Learmont.
