ISLAMABAD (Duniya News) – The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday asked the Ministry of Interior to submit security threat records for not allowing lawyers to meet former Prime Minister Imran Khan even after a court order.
Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq Khan issued a written order for hearing the petition.
The IHC ordered the Home Ministry to send its intelligence officer, whose record of intimidation was the basis for the Punjab government’s ban on visitors at Adiala Jail.
The court also summoned the warden of Adiala Jail again in his personal capacity.
The contempt of court case was heard today and the court issued a notice to the Attorney General’s Office seeking judicial assistance.
