FARGO — Looking for a learning experience this weekend?
Perhaps something to create a spooky seasonal atmosphere?
Or you might meet an unexpected new best friend.
That could happen if you check out the annual Fargo Exotic Pet Expo this Saturday, October 26th at the Red River Valley Fairgrounds.
Vendors, animal experts and nonprofit organizations from the region and other parts of the country will be participating.
One of the vendors at the show is the new Red River Exotics and Aquatics store opening near Brewhalla in Fargo early next month.
You’ll meet the animals, learn about the care needs of each species, and learn how to ensure the animals you’re working with are raised in captivity and not captured from the wild.
Part of the mission is to educate about often misunderstood animals, said Curtis Ness, the expo’s founder.
Watch Jeffrey Doig and Kyler Renfroe of Ness and Red River Exotics and Aquatics join The Morning Show to share their animal stories and see how beautiful and fascinating exotic pets can be I showed it to the person.
