We’re quickly approaching the peak of spooky season. With that in mind, The Land Has Spoken: Tales of Indigenous Horror will be shown at the Mount Baker Theater on Friday, October 18th. Experience a night of curses and omens as the cast guides you through a vast series of Native American horror stories.
The Land Has Spoken is an all-Indigenous radio drama written and produced by fiction writers Shane Hawke and Andrea Rogers, and directed by Kayla Tukaya Garcia and Andre Bouchard. is. If you’re into art, you’re in luck too. Cordata Gallery is exhibiting “Color and Line: An Exploration of 3 NW Artists.” This is an exhibition showcasing the work of local artists Lenny Noel Cheeseman, Johannes Kunst, and David Shear, three artists with a shared appreciation for color and line drawing.
Color and Line runs through January 25 at Cordata Gallery (465 W Stuart Rd., Bellingham, WA). The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
