An attorney for Shanquela Robinson’s mother has filed a lawsuit in the Charlotte woman’s death.
“Through this lawsuit, Shankera Robinson’s family seeks compensatory and punitive damages to address the severe emotional and financial harm this incident has caused,” attorney Sue Ann Robinson said in a news release. said.
Shankera Robinson died mysteriously two years ago while on vacation with six fellow travelers known as the Cabo Six.

Six people with whom Robinson went to Cabo, San Lucas, said he died of alcohol poisoning, but authorities said he died of a broken neck.

No one was charged.
“The family continues to call for the arrest and extradition of Dejanae Jackson, who is wanted in Mexico on murder charges,” Sueann Robinson said in a statement.
Her mother is now suing six other people.
The complaint alleges multiple charges including wrongful death, assault, negligence, conspiracy and emotional distress. The lawsuit was also filed against the U.S. State Department and the FBI.
