A spy photographer has taken photos of the inside of a Kia EV4 for the first time. Looking at the photos, you can see that the widescreen digital display and dashboard design are very similar to that of the EV3 SUV. This compact electric sedan will be smaller and cheaper than the EV6, and should undercut the Tesla Model 3.
Kia’s EV4 sedan has been spied several times in prototype form, and now our photographers have gotten a sneak peek inside the upcoming Tesla Model 3 rival.
The latest images from a heavily disguised sedan test in Europe show the infotainment screen and dashboard of the newest member of Kia’s growing electric family, the car’s sister SUV. It looks almost identical to the components installed in the EV3.

A wide, slim glass panel extends from the driver’s side to the far side of the center console, sandwiching a small 5.3-inch climate control display between a 12.3-inch digital instrument pack with an equally sized touchscreen media system. I’m here.
EV3 is equipped with ChatGPT AI voice control, so it’s more likely to be understood and you can ask a variety of questions. We can assume that the EV4 will have the same technology. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will also be part of the package.
Mounted below the floating screen unit is a control panel with touch-sensitive buttons for key shortcuts such as Home, Maps, and Media, and below that is a rotating drum-style volume control with air vents on each side. The mouth is attached.
The EV4 shares more than interior screen technology with the EV3. The sedan is powered by Hyundai Motor Group’s E-GMP electric platform, the same used in the EV3, EV6, EV9, and multiple Hyundai and Genesis vehicles. However, the EV3 is the only one of these cars with a 400-volt electrical system rather than the more advanced 800-volt electrical system. It is unclear which direction the EV4 will go in, but if I had to guess, it would be to follow the EV3 and pursue lower costs.
Further synergy between the EV3 and EV4 means the sedan will be available with a choice of 58.3kWh or 81.4kWh battery packs, and the base model will be equipped with a single 201hp (204PS/150kW) electric motor. A more powerful dual-motor version with all-wheel drive is also planned.
But the battery and motor aren’t the only things buyers need to configure. You also need to decide what kind of body style you want. These photos show the EV4 in sedan guise, but previous spy photos confirm that Kia will also offer a compact EV with a more upright hatchback tail when it goes on sale next year. has been done.
