Harris said in an interview on ABC’s “The View” that she wouldn’t have done anything different than President Joe Biden over the past four years.
“Nothing comes to mind,” Harris said. The vice president said she has participated in important decisions during the administration and played a role in progress.
“For example, capping the cost of insulin for seniors at $35 per month would allow Medicare to negotiate drug prices to lower the cost of prescription drugs for seniors, which I am very concerned about.” ,” she said.
“But my intention is to extend that to all Americans. We will continue to invest in American industry, including creating approximately 800,000 new manufacturing and manufacturing-related jobs. The work that we have done has all been about a common priority,” she added.
She then revealed that one of the differences she would make if she were elected president by Biden would be to choose Republicans for her cabinet.
Harris is trying to walk a fine line between distancing herself from Biden and the current administration and presenting herself as a possible replacement, while touting her accomplishments over the past four years.
