Jodie Turner-Smith recently opened up about what co-parenting has been like since filing for divorce from fellow actor Joshua Jackson.
In a Glamor UK article published Wednesday, the “Queen & Slim” star said there was an “adjustment period” needed to learn how to co-parent after a breakup.
She filed for divorce in October 2023 after four years of marriage to Jackson, known for his work on TV shows such as “Dawson’s Creek.” They have a 4-year-old daughter, Juno.
Turner-Smith told Glamor UK that “no one hands you a manual” on how to co-parent.
“Everyone is trying to figure it out,” she said. “Each parent has a different life, and how they co-parent can only complicate matters, especially if the reason for the separation is because of their different lives.”

When asked what he thought about Jackson and Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong’o fueling dating rumors months after he split from Turner-Smith, the British actor dismissed it.
“He can do whatever he wants,” she answered. “Please be kind to Juno and be kind to Juno’s mother too. I will be Juno’s mother forever.”
She added: “I have absolutely no opinion on his journey.”
Turner-Smith previously spoke to Britain’s Sunday Times Style about her split from Jackson earlier this year: …That’s OK. ”
At the time, she said she didn’t think their marriage was a “failure.”
“We obviously had some very beautiful moments together,” she added. “And now a new moment has arrived for both of us. And how exciting!”
