During an episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna in June, the actress said she’s definitely thriving as a single mom.
When asked what being a mother has done for her, Turner-Smith is quick to say that being a mother is one of her “favorite things.”
“Honestly, the thing I love most about myself is that I am that girl’s mother. That she chose me to be her mother and that gift in her life. I’m just grateful that I was able to get this,” Turner-Smith said. “That’s my favorite thing to do. I mean, it’s an honor.”
“I feel like it was our birthright to motherhood. I think it’s a woman’s birthright whether we bring children or not. We create space for those around us. It changed everything about me. It just made me rich. It showed me how powerful I am. , like a supreme being.”
