The “White Noise” actor recently spoke with GLAMOR about her Woman of the Year cover story. In an interview, she revealed that people with children have to go through an “adjustment period” when their children are separated.

Jodie Turner-Smith opened up about her experience co-parenting with ex-husband Joshua Jackson in an interview with GLAMOR. She said there was no “manual” given to them about co-parenting and “everyone is trying to figure it out.” She explained, “When you break up with someone, it’s an adjustment period for everyone because you’re used to being with your kids all the time.”
Turner-Smith further shared the complexities of having different lifestyles while co-parenting. She explained: “Each parent has a different life, and how they co-parent can only complicate things further, especially when the reasons for separation are different lives.”
During the interview, Jodie Turner-Smith also spoke passionately about being a mother to four-year-old girl Juno Rose Diana. Describing motherhood, she said it was “the craziest, most beautiful, thankless, emotional job in the whole wide world.”
The “Queen & Slim” actor also spoke about the importance of freedom and having power. She advised, “Spend your money wisely. After all, it gives you independence and not control.” The actor further emphasized that independence is not free, it requires money and that he believes that is power.
Jodie Turner-Smith married Joshua Jackson in 2019, and the former couple welcomed a daughter together in April of the following year. However, they divorced in 2023 after four years of marriage.
