Bachelor Nation first met Sarah Herron on season 17 of “The Bachelor,” and she returned to our screens in seasons 1 and 3 of “Bachelor in Paradise.”
After many ups and downs during her IVF journey, Sarah revealed a few months ago that she and husband Dylan Brown were expecting twin girls.
The Bachelor Nation star introduced the world to her two little miracles, Evie and Coco, on Instagram.
The little ones were born at 32 weeks, so they spent four weeks in the NICU, but were finally able to go home last month.
Sarah posted an update on Instagram about parenting her newborn twins, who have different limbs.
In a new video posted online, the new mother of two gave a glimpse of how she gets her daughters up from a nap on their own. “Like anything else…one thing at a time,” she revealed in the video.
The video shows Sarah carefully picking up and changing one of the twin girls, and holding the other to her chest in a baby carrier. The scene then ends with Sarah shaking both Evie and Coco while smiling for the camera.
In addition to the sweet video, the Bachelor Nation star wrote, “The babies are almost three months old, which means we’re starting to understand the whole picture of these newborn twins…somehow.” I wrote.
She also revealed that she has been having trouble raising children recently as her husband has become increasingly busy.
Sarah said, “My husband has returned to the field due to work, so I am home alone with the babies a few days a week. So, as a mother of twins, I am raising them on my own. I’m learning how to do things my way (x2), and as a mother with a disability, I’m learning how to do things my way with one hand.”
She shared her new system as follows: “Most of the time, the trick is actually a lot of props and taking your time (deep breath) and getting the most out of your props and carrier to prepare ahead of time. Just like anything else that comes your way, you just deal with it one thing at a time.”
