Promotion: The Faculty of Architecture and Design at Spain’s IE University has introduced new courses within its Bachelor of Design program focusing on interiors, video game design and virtual environments.
We also offer new full-time master’s degrees in interior design and video game design and virtual environments, as well as bachelor’s degrees. According to IE University, the tracks aim to “empower the next generation of creative professionals to succeed in a rapidly evolving global entrepreneurial environment.”
“These programs will become a global hub for creative innovation, a living gallery and laboratory where students, faculty, and professionals collaborate to redefine the boundaries of design and architecture,” says the IE School of Architecture and Design. “It reflects our bold vision.”

IE University introduces a new course in Interior Design within its existing Bachelor of Design program
The Bachelor of Design: Interior Design track is a four-year program that provides students with the technical skills necessary to design innovative and functional interior environments.
Held at the university’s Segovia and Madrid campuses, the school says it will develop “spaces for interaction and spaces for living that challenge students to rethink how people interact with the environment.” It’s called focusing.
Meanwhile, a 10-month master’s degree in interior design will focus on sustainability and entrepreneurship, and the design of “transformative spaces.” Classes are held directly at the Madrid IE Tower campus.
The university has also launched new courses in video game design and virtual environments.
The Bachelor of Design in Video Game Design and Virtual Environments track also takes place directly at the Segovia and Madrid campuses over a four-year period.
It has been carefully selected to provide students with the skills necessary to design “immersive and interactive” games and virtual reality experiences.
The 10-month master’s program will be held in Madrid and will strive to develop “students who will take on leadership roles in the digital entertainment industry.”
A game design degree is also available as a master’s degree.
According to IE University, these courses reflect the Faculty of Architecture and Design’s continued ambition to “explore new frontiers in design education”.
It said all programs will integrate “project-based learning, environmental and social responsibility, and interdisciplinary thinking.”
The interior design and video game and virtual environment tracks will be officially launched at events on November 5th and November 21st, respectively.
